These Terms of Service (“these Terms”) constitute a legally valid agreement between you (including course participants and their guardians, collectively referred to as “you”) and HOLA (“we”) regarding your use of HOLA’s online course services (“the Services”). Please carefully read these Terms before registering for, purchasing, or using the Services. Once you complete any of the aforementioned actions, it shall be deemed that you have fully understood and agreed to accept all contents of these Terms. If you are the guardian of a minor, you confirm that you have obtained the minor’s consent and accept these Terms on their behalf.

I. Fee Payment and Refund Policy

1.1 Fee Payment: When registering for the Services, you shall prepay the full course fee in accordance with the stated course price. The available payment methods are those displayed on HOLA’s official platform (such as WeChat Pay, Alipay, etc.). Upon completion of payment, we will activate the corresponding course access rights for you.

1.2 Refund Rules: To fully protect your legitimate rights and interests, adhere to the principles of fairness and reasonableness, and in conjunction with the relevant provisions of the Law of the People’s Republic of China on the Protection of Consumers’ Rights and Interests, the following refund policy is specially formulated to ensure that each of your claims receives a clear response:

Cancellation Due to Personal Reasons: You shall submit a written cancellation application through the exclusive course page or official customer service channels (including in-app customer service, official hotline) at least 24 hours in advance. If the application is completed 24 hours before the course starts, the full amount of the paid course fee may be refunded; if the application is submitted less than 24 hours before the course starts or after the course has commenced, the fee for one single course will be deducted.
Force Majeure: If you are unable to attend the course due to force majeure such as major illness (supporting documents include diagnosis certificates from hospitals at Level 2 or above), natural disasters, or government mandatory control measures, you may apply for a refund with valid supporting materials. Upon verification and confirmation, the remaining fee after deducting any incurred basic service fees (if applicable) will be refunded to minimize your losses.
Cancellation Caused by Our Responsibility: If you are unable to use the Services normally due to reasons attributable to HOLA (including but not limited to unprovoked course suspension, unauthorized replacement of core teachers without 48 hours’ prior notice, and significant discrepancy between course content and promotion), you may apply for a full refund at any time. Meanwhile, we will provide an additional course coupon with a face value of no less than 5% of the total course fee as compensation based on the actual impact.
Handling of Unjustified Absence: For courses that you miss without justifiable reasons, no separate refund will be processed. However, we will provide you with course playback valid for 30 days (unless the course explicitly states that playback is not supported); if playback is not available for the course, an exclusive teaching assistant will be arranged to provide one post-class Q&A session on core content to protect your learning rights and interests.

II. Adjustment to Course Arrangement

2.1 We reserve the right to adjust the time or duration of individual courses based on reasonable needs such as teaching plan optimization and teacher deployment, provided that we notify you at least 48 hours in advance through the contact information you have provided, such as official APP notifications, SMS, and WeChat.

2.2 If the course adjustment has a significant impact on your learning, you have the right to communicate with customer service within 24 hours of receiving the notification to choose to postpone the course, switch to a course of equal value, or apply for a refund for the corresponding course. We will actively cooperate with your reasonable requests.

III. Media Usage Authorization (Special Provisions for Minors)

3.1 In view of the fact that some courses may involve recording the learning process and displaying the learning achievements of participants, if your ward (i.e., the minor participant) attends the course, you, as the guardian, hereby explicitly agree and authorize us and our partners to record the ward’s name, in-class images, learning works, and in-class performance (collectively referred to as “Authorized Content” hereinafter) through shooting, audio recording, video recording, etc., in compliance with the Minor Protection Law of the People’s Republic of China and the Personal Information Protection Law of the People’s Republic of China.

3.2 Scope and Purpose of Authorized Use: The Authorized Content shall only be used for non-commercial and non-profit purposes such as our brand promotion, teaching achievement display, and course quality optimization. Specific usage scenarios include but are not limited to: display on HOLA’s official website and APP, release on official social media accounts (such as WeChat Official Account, Douyin, etc.), and production of promotional materials for offline teaching centers.

3.3 Rights Reservation and Restrictions:

  • You have the right to submit a written application to withdraw the authorization through official customer service channels at any time after granting the authorization. We will stop using the corresponding Authorized Content within 15 working days upon receipt of the application and properly handle the published content (such as blurring, deletion, etc.), except for content that has been legally made public and is irrecoverable.
  • We promise not to use the Authorized Content for commercial advertising, sell it to third parties, or use it for other purposes inconsistent with the provisions of these Terms. If it is necessary to expand the scope of use, your written consent must be obtained again.
  • Regarding infringement issues caused by illegal misappropriation or reprinting of the Authorized Content by third parties, we will actively assist you in safeguarding your rights upon receiving your notice, but we shall not bear direct compensation liability.
  • If external media organizations participate in course-related activities and need to record participants’ information, we will notify you in advance. You may independently decide whether to allow external media to use the relevant content. If your consent is not obtained, we will prohibit external media from shooting and recording.

IV. Other Terms

4.1 The formation, validity, performance, interpretation, and dispute resolution of these Terms shall all be governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China.

4.2 Any dispute arising between you and us in connection with the Services shall first be resolved through friendly negotiation; if negotiation fails, either party shall have the right to file a lawsuit with the people’s court having jurisdiction over the place where HOLA is located.

4.3 We reserve the right to revise these Terms in accordance with updates to laws and regulations or business adjustments. The revised Terms will be published on the official platform and shall take effect 7 days after the publication period expires. If you have objections to the revised Terms, you may cease using the Services; continued use shall be deemed as acceptance of the revised Terms.

4.4 Matters not covered by these Terms shall be governed by the relevant national laws and regulations and our officially published rules.
