Why Doesn’t HOLA Process the Payment?
HOLA is a Spanish Language academy, we are not a licensed travel agency.
Under Canadian regulations, companies that organize and sell travel services must hold specific licenses and meet strict consumer protection requirements. As an educational institution, Hola Spanish is not authorized to process payments directly for travel packages.
To ensure full legal compliance and to protect our participants, we work with a certified Colombian travel agency (Rioja Turismo) that is officially authorized to operate and manage travel services. Rioja Turismo is properly licensed and operates in accordance with Colombian tourism regulations.
Our travel programs are organized in partnership with certified operators and supported through formal agreements, including collaboration frameworks connected with PROCOLOMBIA.
By processing payments through our authorized travel partner, we ensure:
- Compliance with Canadian and Colombian travel regulations
- Proper handling of travel logistics and legal responsibilities
- Secure and certified payment processing
- Full operational coverage of the immersion experience
